Happy August,

I know everyone is finishing up vacation and getting ready for school - I hope you all are Having a great summer!

The Nags Head  Commissioners will discuss the funding and timeline for beach nourishment tomorrow night and I will be passing on any news - let's all hope it can take place soon.

The EPA, of course, has recommended widening NC 12 and 158 rather than building a bridge to Corolla from Aydlet but NCDOT says it's still a go - the final environmental impact statement will be coming out in October. Let's also hope the bridge is a go to start next year!
